A Day In The Life....
This week on the blog, my daughter and I take you through a special day spent in NYC. We are putting together this series of videos for the purpose of giving you suggestions for unique experiences in NYC. In this episode, Delia has planned a special day as a belated Mother's Day gift to me. We start out visiting the fashion exhibit, "Heavenly Bodies....Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" at the Metropolitan Museum. As well as the spectacular pieces by designers such as Versace and Dolce and Gabbana, the Vatican loaned very important , never seen before items from the Sistine Chapel. This magnificent exhibition runs through October 8, 2018. Andrew Bolton, the head curator for the Met's esteemed Costume Institute, has created a truly remarkable experience which encompasses the main Met building, and first the first time, the Cloisters as well.
I won't go into the rest of the day's events, because you can watch it all below!
We want to share our experiences with you to inspire and give you the information you might not have, so that you can replicate with ease if you would like! As always, please make comments, questions and suggestions for us. We want you to be an active part of the TSTBU (The Style That Binds Us) community!
