Do I have a short neck?

This is the third week in the blog series about common figure issues and ways to Accentuate, Balance and Camouflage in order to create your best look yet! This week our topic is neck length.  If you do have a shorter neck, there is no need to despair. There are ways to dress that work for you instead of against you. As always, keep in mind that what seems to be a dramatic flaw to you, goes largely unnoticed by others!

Here are the pieces you should avoid:

 Turtlenecks

 Thick chokers

Round neck tops that hit at the base of the neck

Try instead:

Deep V or turned up collar

 Mid length dangling earrings

A shorter neck looks adorable with hair pulled back or a short haircut and long earrings as seen below.

These tips are easy ways to look glam and feel confident regardless of the length of your neck! They also will save you time and money when shopping. Steer clear of what doesn't work, and head straight towards the pieces you love that work to accentuate your best assets and diminish those you are self conscious about.

Next week will be the final blog post in this series. If you would like to know how to dress for a certain body type or issue, comment or message me and I will include it on the blog. Thanks for reading!
