WHAT TO WEAR FOR SPRING (as seen at NYFW for Spring 2018)

Each week this month, I will be discussing a trend seen at NYFW for spring 2018. I will give examples of the trend that resonate with me to show you visual examples of the trend; I am a firm believer in the idea that "a picture tells a thousand words"!  If you like a piece shown, the photos are shoppable, just click on the photo to be taken to the website. Take time to decide which trends work for YOU, and ways you could incorporate the look into your spring wardrobe. Remember, you can always add a small piece if it’s a look you would not want to overdo! If the pieces shown here are not in your price point, check websites such as Zara, to finds pieces that were inspired by this look. Also, discover how your go-to brands and labels are interpreting this trend! These photos are for INSPIRATION!

Florals are still HUGE, and there will be many examples of this in the form of OVERSIZED floral prints. This trend can be worn head-to-toe, or by simply adding a bag or shoe for a modern twist.

I want you to keep in mind that above all, fashion should be FUN! It can serve as a way to be creative. Adding a piece (or a few pieces) of a current trend can jazz up your core wardrobe. I saw a fashion editor at an event last night in floral pajamas worn with a belt and strappy high heeled sandals. She, of course, looked stunning, but for most of us, a full-on pajama look may not feel right. In that case, you can wear the top with a jean and heel and get the same chic and comfortable effect. It's all about feeling and looking great! We would love to hear how you will be wearing these spring trends, so let us know in the comment section!
