Before anyone gets upset, this can mean FAUX or real, no judgement here! This season designers are getting really creative with fur. You will see pieces in all the colors of the rainbow. They can be found at all price points, this is not a trend just for the one percenters!

As you all know by now, I am very interested in functionality and versatility. A jacket or coat like this can be dressed up or down-you can wear it for holiday cocktails, or with jeans for a very chic, casual, rock n' roll vibe. Fur can take ordinary, understated looks to an entirely new place-the look becomes luxuriously glamorous instantly! It's the perfect fix for the cold, dark days of winter.

What about a little fur bag? What about a flat with a fur pompom?

My personal current obsession is this pair of boots by Mr. and Mrs. Italy, but Sam Edelman makes one as does See by Chloe.

We are all familiar with fur trimmed coats and parkas, but what about brightly colored fur trim? It seriously brightens up army green for a truly stunning look. Mr. and Mrs. Italy started the trend in parkas, and now Harvey Faircloth, Topshop, Shrimps and others are following in their footsteps.

My advice to you is to find one fur piece to add to your wardrobe this fall. It can be something big like a coat or a jacket, or something small like a handbag or shoe. This trend is a bit similar to the feather trend I talked about last week, but with the added advantage of warmth! Whatever you choose, it will make you happy I know, not to mention how it will make you look! You will be a ROCKSTAR!
