RED IS BACK AND IT’S BIGGER THAN EVER.

If you read my monthly newsletter, you know that I am beginning a series of weekly blog posts discussing fall 2017 trends; what you will be seeing and which ones I'm excited about. This week I'm talking about the color RED. Almost everyone can wear some shade of red, although many of my clients say "Oh I would never….", I say, " Yes, you can and you should!" That's the most important thing, knowing the correct shade for your coloring. You can read about which shade of red is best for you here.

It's an easy way to make a STATEMENT, that's for sure! This fall, it's a way to feel current and stylish at any age, since it just may be the color of the season. "It isn't just a New York thing, it's possible that red may be THE color of all fall 2017 fashion weeks." - Elle magazine.

Some fashion houses like Max Mara are showing full head-to-toe red, but Fendi, for example, had the models wearing red shoes and a red coat. As you know, what we see on the runway will be done by brands at all price points. For example, here is a handbag by Gucci for $1980, and one by Botkier for $198. If you see anything here that you love, you can be sure your favorite brand will have something similar hitting the stores soon!

Personally, I'm dying for a red pantsuit, but I also have some red Rebecca De Ravenel Les Bons Bons earrings that I will be wearing often this fall. If you've never owned anything red, I challenge you to find a piece this fall! Red evokes passion and a zest for life, Power with a capital "P" and instant glamour… So why not!? I say go for it!

Until next week and the next trend,

Xoxo,
